Do children at your school play beyond EYFS?
Please add
 your school to the map!

Who can be on the playful schools map?

Any school or academy who wants to show that they are making a pledge to play (even if you aren`t yet as playful as you would like to be) can add their school to the map!

We know there is power in numbers so the more schools we can show are playful the better, it only takes a minute to add your school to the map.

Please ensure you include your school’s name when you add it to the map.

To add your school:

  • Click the + sign on the map

  • Type in your school name and address

  • Click Publish

Who will contact me?

If you want to be contacted by parents, schools or educators then you can indicate this in the notes but you do not have to indicate that you want to be contacted!

We know how incredible networking and professional development can be and we hope, the playful schools map will allow schools of all shapes and sizes to connect

Who can include a case study?

Each school has a different context and story to tell and we want to connect educators with as many stories around play in education as we can! With each pinned school there is also the option to upload a case study to explore how the school showcases their pledge to play and where they are on the playful journey. (You don`t have to add a case study but please do consider it!)

How to create a case study

  • Open up our case study template

  • Write your case study (Please note this case study will belong to you. Please ensure this does not include any personal data, that you have permission to share any images or information used).,

  • Click the purple + on the map and type in your school or academy name and address

  • Click upload on the map and add your case study.

What else can I upload?

If you would rather upload a recording of your playful school ( ie: a virtual tour) or would like to do this alongside the case study then please do! We find that recordings really can bring it to life for others and will help in connecting, collaborating and spreading the need for play in education.

Please ensure you have read our privacy notice here.

We hope you have fun connecting. If there are any difficulties then please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
